Resilience over hype. Outcomes over activity. People at the center.

I was born and raised in Guatemala City and moved to the United States in 2000 to join a startup—two months before the dot-com bubble burst and the company closed. My family had already sold everything and moved to Florida. That experience shaped how I lead: build for resilience, make decisions with context, and never lose sight of the people affected by technology.

Over the decades since, I have led software, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations in financial services, insurance, and healthcare. I am most effective where technology must become more strategic, more disciplined, and more closely aligned with the business.

Outside of work, I am a father first. I am also developing an offline-first neonatal sepsis-screening tool with my father-in-law, a neonatologist, for use in rural Guatemala—technology in service of something that matters.
